| FAME for February
FAME 4 Lesson 4
| FAME is a six-year cycle of fine arts lessons that focus on one artist and one composer for six lessons throughout the school year. Because no lesson is repeated throughout the six years, students never get the same FAME lesson twice. This is FAME IV out of VI. This is FAME's sixteenth year at Strandwood! We are thrilled to have enjoyed strong administration, staff, PTA and parent support throughout that time. FAME takes place on Tuesdays throughout the month. If you're interested in observing, please contact your child's teacher for their schedule. Parent visitors are always welcome. Click below to listen to a version of the Music.

| FPHE Annual Campaign
|
FPHE's Annual Campaign has begun and we are asking for your financial support. Since 2009, FPHE has awarded $85,000 and 99 grants to the schools within the College Park High School feeder pattern. In order to continue our goal of raising the achievement bar of education for all students in our local schools, we are asking you to donate to the Annual Campaign.
Suggested donation: $75 or more Donations of all amounts are appreciated. Contributions enhance our schools, help counteract California budget cuts, and benefit our community. Your donation will directly impact schools. Why give? Because strong schools benefit you Strong schools greatly benefit students, but they also increase property values for all residents as more home buyers understand and want to be a part of our community's dedication to supporting local education. Businesses then grow as new people move into the area. Most importantly, strong schools enhance the future of our entire community. Our Annual Campaign events include: Fund Drive - Our appeal to the community to support our public schools. Please donate at www.fphe.org or click here for the donation flyer. Dine Out for Education - Our restaurant fundraisers on Tuesday nights. Please click here for the Dine Out flyer (or obtain one from www.fphe.org) and submit with the bill at the restaurant. Kick off the campaign by attending FPHE's first Dine Out event on February 7 at Back Forty Texas BBQ! See you there! Pleasant Hill's Amazing Race - The first city-wide Amazing Race will take place on April 21. Don't miss it! Bring friends and family! Details will be available soon. Be a part of progress--donate today for the future of Pleasant Hill schools. Thank you for your commitment to education and our community. Sincerely, The Foundation for Pleasant Hill Education www.fphe.org
