Every Monday Email Club members receive important information regarding upcoming events and communications from The PTA and Strandwood staff via the Roadrunner. The Roadrunner also provides links to important flyers and new items on the PTA and school websites. Box Tops for Education

Congratulations to our November Box Top contest winner, 4th grader Mandy Wilson!  She turned in a total of 332 Box Tops!  Way to go Mandy!  Thank you to all that turned in Box Tops this past month!

 

Keep up the collecting, the next contest will end Friday, December 16th.  Remember to have your Box Tops labeled with your childs name, class and number of Box Tops collected.

Short Days and Holidays in December
The next two weeks will see short days as the teachers meet with parents for the 1st trimester review. The schedule for the next two weeks will be: 
Kindergarten no change to schedules  

1st - 5th - 8:10am - 1:40pm (excluding Wednesdays which are normal hours) 

 

There will be no school from Monday, December 19th through Friday, December 30th. We will see everyone back on Monday, January 2, 2012.

Pajama Drive

Please help our Camp Fire USA group collect NEW pajamas for local children in need.  If you want to participate you can drop off NEW pajamas at Strandwood or at the Pleasant Hill Market.  Please read the flyer for more information about the program by clicking here.  We will be collecting pajamas until Friday, December 9th.

Winterfest at College Park
College Park High School Invites the Community to "Winterfest"
Wednesday, December 14, 7:00 to 9:00 PM
at College Park High School

Winterfest celebrates all of the visual & performing arts at College Park. There will be a concert in the gym featuring vocal performances by the Mixed Chorus and Concert Choir as well as instrumental performances by the Wind Ensemble and Orchestra. Concurrently in the Multi-use room, the visual arts students display original artwork from ceramics, glass, photography & art classes. Some of the students offer art for sale. 
 
Come see the very talented teens in our community and get a glimpse of the opportunities for future students of College Park. Bring the whole family!
