ONE WARM COAT DRIVE AT STRANDWOOD ELEMENTARY
By Kelly Gallagher
| Winter is approaching, and no one should have to go without such a basic necessity as a coat. 3rd grade Brownie Girl Scout Troop 32442 is collecting clean, reusable coats and jackets to assist the One Warm Coat community service effort. One Warm Coat is dedicated to distributing reusable coats, free of charge, directly to local children and adults. The program is a way for families to pass along coats and jackets that are no longer needed. GS Troop 32442 have made donating a coat simple. Just drop it off in the bin at the MU room and we will do the rest.
WHAT: Collecting clean, reusable coats and jackets. Coats of all shapes and sizes are welcome, but children's sizes are needed the most. WHEN: Tuesday, November 1st - Friday, November 18th and Monday, November 28th - Saturday, December 3rd (Nutcrakcer) WHERE: Please put all donations in bins outside the MU room. They will be collected each day after school.
QUESTIONS: Please contact Kelly Gallagher at kelgallagher@gmail.com or Jennifer Baker at jmcmbaker@att.net |

Come for the teacher presentation and stay for the remainder of the PTA meeting. Of course you can leave after the grade level presentation but we would love it if you stuck around and listen to your executive board members have to say. Childcare is provided free of charge.
