See's Candy Delivered Tomorrow
Program Was Very Successful

 Thank you to the Strandwood Community for a very successful See's Candies Fundraiser. This is the first time we have
introduced this sales event to Strandwood and it exceeded our expectations. We
earned more than $1,700 for the Outdoor Education Program.
Candy will be
delivered to your child's classroom on Wednesday afternoon (depending on the
delivery truck's arrival time). If you would like to make other pick-up

Nutcracker Dressing Room Parent Meeting
|
It's hard to believe that the show is just around the corner. Once we come back from the Thanksgiving break, we will be into show week! Just a reminder to everyone who signed up to be a dressing room parent that there will be a dressing room parent meeting Thursday at 3:00pm in the library.
Please note the important Dress Rehearsal dates below. Also, a reminder to please have your child come to school dressed in their basic costume on their assigned dress rehearsal date. Please refer to your Nutcracker Packet for basic costume instructions.
Tuesday, 12/1 at 10am - Show 3 Dress Rehearsal
Thursday, 12/3 at 10am - Show 2 Dress Rehearsal
Friday, 12/4 at 10am - Show 1 Dress Rehearsal
All Dress Rehearsals start at 10am and take place in the MUR. In addition to students being able to watch each other perform, this is a great opportunity for extended family members to come and watch the show as seating will be limited to immediate family members only on show day. Seating will be on a first come first served basis at the Dress Rehearsal.
We'd like to thank the PTA for helping with ticket distribution this year. For all ticket matters, please stand by for more information to come from the PTA.

PHMS Drama Performance Wednesday and Thursday
|
The Pleasant Hill Middle School Drama Department cordially invites you and your children to their performances of TWINDERELLA on November 18th and 19th in the PHMS multiuse room. This play is humorous fairytale with a twist and is especially appropriate for 3rd and 4th grade students. We are trying to encourage appreciation of the arts in the Pleasant Hill Middle School community. The play runs about 45 minutes. Doors open at 6:45pm and the show begins at 7:00pm. The cost is $3.00 for students and $5.00 for adults. Thank you for your support. We look forward to seeing you and your children at our performances.
