Former House guest, Melanie Urban, wrote the following letter with gratitude and appreciation.

"Dear Cardi's,

Our son, Maddox, was born with a blood disorder and needed to be hospitalized for a few weeks.  We live an hour away and have two older children; 12 year-old Mason and 10 year-old Mitchell.  Traveling back and forth from our home would have been impossible.  Thanks to RMH Providence, we were able to be with Maddox 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and our stay was wonderful.

Sincerely,

Michael, Melanie, Mason, Mitchell & Maddox Urban"

We ask that you kindly reserve your spot in class no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled class. To get a full list of program dates and times, please click here

Jane-Francis Kathie Panico Dell posted the following:

"So thankful for Johnson & Wales culinary students/volunteers for the yummy treats & stuffed pork chops for dinner tonight. After driving 2hrs to work and OVER 4 back in a sea of red traffic to Ronald McDonald House of Providence to see Ash who thought she was abandoned, it was great not to have to worry about dinner!"

Little Philanthropist

John Jessop has been fundraising for RMH Providence since the prime age of 5. He became aware of the House by visiting his local McDonald's restaurants and asking questions about the little box at the register. After his initial interest was sparked, he and his mother, Victoria Jessop, visited the House as part of a local MOMS Club fundraiser. John has been raising funds ever since. For the past two years, this Little Philanthropist has been collecting funds for the House in lieu of Halloween candy.   We are very proud to have John on our team! Way to go John and thank you.

Santa's Mini-Village

It's that time of year again when Santa's elves head to Warwick, Rhode Island and start working day and night to prepare Santa's Mini-Village.  Board Member Dan Cunningham and his wife Sandy are once again opening their home for your holiday enjoyment.

Come check out this fabulous Holiday display containing over 200 village homes, working trains and much more.  A portion of the donations will directly support the families of RMH Providence.

Santa's Mini-Village is located at 270 Squantum Drive, Warwick, RI and is open nightly from December 1 to January 8.

Monster Mash

Deanna Russo and her committee put in hours of hard work in organizing the 1st Annual Monster Mash to support the House. Many braved the downright spooky weather on October 29 and found their way to the Squantum Club in East Providence for a night of raffles, music, costumes and much more all to support RMH Providence. Thank you to all who were involved!! Looking forward to next year!!

Check out photos from the event.
