Dear Friends,

Did you notice that our e-newsletter looks a little different?  We've made some changes to coincide with the launch of our new website.

That's right, we are pleased to announce the launch of a new website

The site contains updated information, additional family and volunteer stories, and several ways that you can continue to support our mission.  It also features all of our latest photos and even videos.

We hope you take a moment to see everything this new site has to offer.
Every Dollar Counts

It seems that everywhere we turn there is more news about our troubled economy.  And we know that everyone has been affected.

We also know that sick children cannot wait for the economy to improve before they seek critical medical treatment.  In fact, with more families struggling to make ends meet, our services are in higher demand.

We realize that everyone is facing financial challenges, but we remind you that your assistance is more crucial than ever.

We hope you will continue to give so we can serve all families who need a temporary place to stay during their child's hospitalization.

Amica Adopts A Room

Amica recently joined the Adopt-a-Room program as a Partner level sponsor.

Their support helps to underwrite the costs associated with providing a room to a family with a hospitalized child.  We thank Amica for their continued support.

Walk Festival 2009

For the first time in several years, we enjoyed beautiful weather for the Walk Festival and we were joined by almost 950 attendees.

We offer special thanks to everyone who participated and to our presenting sponsor: Cardi's Furniture.

20th Anniversary Celebration
To be held November 5, 2009

Yes, we changed the date.  We will celebrate our 20th Anniversary on Thursday, November 5, 2009.  This will allow us to offer reduced ticket prices so more of our longtime supporters can join the party.  For all the details, continue
Special Thanks to Best Buy

In March, several members of the Best Buy loss prevention and Geek Squad teams came to the House with an amazing donation that included two computers, 7 flat screen televisions with built-in DVD players for guest rooms, a flat screen TV for the kitchen, a DVD library for all to enjoy, and $1,000. They also volunteered their time to install these items and to clean up around the House.

To support the Walk, Best Buy donated a 50-inch flat screen television and home theatre system and organized a team of walkers.

We thank Best Buy and their employees for their continued generosity.
Stay at the House?  We Would LOVE to Hear From You!

Tell us about your stay and share your family updates.  Send letters and/or photos to the House or complete our online form.  Any submissions may be used in our marketing materials and/or donation solicitation pieces.
