Lady Death Claims Collectors' Hearts in All-New Upcoming Statue from The CS Moore Studio Ltd.

Brian Pulido's Lady Death has captivated her legion of fans for over 15 years. Master Sculptor Clayburn Moore is readying this beautiful yet deadly femme fatale as a seductive new statue from The CS Moore Studio Ltd. The piece will be part of Moore's Signature Collection of 1/6 scale female comics character statues.


"Lady Death is a comics icon," said Moore. "I've had the pleasure of sculpting previous Lady Death statue releases, and I'm looking forward to giving fans a completely new collectible that captures the essence of this phenomenal character."


"This is the Lady Death statue Clay has wanted to do for over a decade," says Lady Death creator Brian Pulido. "Fans will be knocked out by what he has in store for them. I know I am!" This is THE master sculptor UNLEASHED!


Moore is keeping details on this piece under wraps for now, and is working with Lady Death creator Brian Pulido to make this a statue to remember. More information will be released at www.csmoorestudio.com as it becomes available.

Clayburn is putting the finishing touches on this dynamic new statue when we return from Comic-Con International: San Diego. Show attendees can see the preliminary pose mockup maquette at the show, which was featured in Clayburn's first Magdalena Blog post. Zenescope Entertainment and The CS Moore Studio Team Up for Wonderland Originals' Alice Action Figure!

Zenescope Leading comics publisher Zenescope Entertainment and award-winning Sculptor Clayburn Moore of The CS Moore Studio Ltd have announced plans to release a special edition Alice Liddle Action Figure to celebrate the 1st issue of the upcoming Wonderland ongoing series. Alice will be the first in the Grimm Fairy Tales Originals series of action figures based on Zenescope's popular stable of sexy characters.


Zenescope's Wonderland series follows Alice's grown daughter, Calie Liddle, as she travels back to Wonderland. With stunning art and a new take on the Alice in Wonderland fairy tale, Zenescope's stories have riveted readers and garnered critical acclaim. Zenescope's sexy interpretation of this classic character will be brought to life by Clayburn Moore, widely regarded as a master of sculpting the female form.


The Alice Liddle Action Figure will stand approximately 7" tall, and will feature multiple points of articulation and accessories. As a special bonus, each figure will be packaged with a copy of Wonderland #1. Additional figures are planned in the line including a Snow White figure to commemorate Grimm Fairy Tales #75 which will be released in 2012.


"We have wanted to create action figures based on our characters for a long time," said Zenescope President Joe Brusha. "We're extremely excited for that to finally happen and I can't think of a better sculptor to bring these characters to life than Clay."


"Alice is a great looking character and so my goal is to sculpt one of the most gorgeous action figures ever," said Moore.


The Alice Liddle Action Figure is scheduled to ship in September 2012 to coincide with the release of Grimm Fairy Tales #75. Additional details will be released at www.zenescope.com and www.csmoorestudio.com as they become available.

Variant Editions of Top Independent Titles

CS Moore EditionsThe CS Moore Studio Ltd is pleased to announce the launch of its CS Moore Editions imprint, offering collectors limited-edition variant comics of hot independent titles.

The imprint's first release will be a CS Moore Editions variant of Zenescope Entertainment's Neverland: Hook #1. The Neverland: Hook #1 CS Moore Comics Variant has a never-before-seen cover by fan-favorite artist Eric Basaldua, and features Zenescope's seductive Tinker Belle character in a stunning new costume. Even better, the cover artwork will serve as the inspiration for a breathtaking new Tinker Belle statue by The CS Moore Studio Ltd, sculpted by award-winning sculptor Clayburn Moore.

Tinker Belle Collectors can get a sneak peek of the cover (shown at left) at The CS Moore Studio's booth #2800 during this year's Comic-Con International: San Diego, where one lucky fan will take home a signed, one-of-a-kind print of the cover image, signed by Basaldua, Moore and Zenescope President Joe Brusha. Attendees can enter the drawing at the CS Moore Studio booth, and the winner will be selected at 5:00pm on Saturday, July 23.

CS Moore Editions plans to release limited edition variant comics of Zenescope's entire Neverland: Hook series, followed by more titles from Zenescope and other leading independent publishers. Collectors can expect to see several CS Moore Editions covers transformed into limited edition, fully-painted statues as part of The CS Moore Studio's line of beautiful independent character sculpture releases.

"The plan is to work closely with top artists to design beautiful variant covers that can also be used as inspiration for amazing sculptures," said Moore. "It doesn't get any better than this."
