2010-11 Teaching Staff We are excited to have all our teachers in place for the new year. All of our teaching staff will be returning this year with the exception of First Grade. As we announced at the end of last year, our new First Grade Teacher is Mrs. Erin Hawes. She earned her Bachelor degree in Education from the University of South Dakota and previously taught at Central Baptist Preschool and Kindergarten in Sioux Falls, SD. I know she will be a great addition to our wonderful team!! Please pray for her and our other teachers as they begin to prepare for a new year.

Public Relations Team Something new we would like to form for the new school year is a "Public Relations Team". We are looking for four or five individuals who would volunteer to form this team. The purpose would be to look for and take advantage of as many opportunities as possible to promote Calvary Christian School. This would include using the newspaper, public service announcements, etc. to promote our school activities and try to keep our school in the public eye. Orientation Night Parents Orientation Night will be Thursday, September 2 at 7:00 p.m. We will have a general session for all parents followed by time for parents to visit their student's classroom to meet teachers and allow them to share about their class goals and expectations for the year. We hope everyone will be able to join us for this important night.
