As we celebrate another Fourth of July and we should recount the blessings of freedom won for us by the founding fathers who publicly declared: "And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor."

Let us also remember that the impulse for freedom is God-given and finds its fullest expression and fulfillment in our Liberator and Rescuer Jesus Christ of whom Scripture declares, "For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery." Galatians 5:1
