1,000 Men Join 'Courageous' Movie Director at WACMM to Learn About Biblical Manhood

SPRINGFIELD, Va. - Some 1,000 men joined "Courageous" co-writer and co-director Stephen Kendrick at a Virginia church on Saturday to learn about biblical manhood.
Kendrick told the crowd gathered at Immanuel Bible Church for the regional "Iron Sharpens Iron" men's conference that modern societal problems can be linked to a lack of good fathers.
"When the Industrial Revolution happened in the 1800s everything shifted where dads went off to work. And so instead of dad being the primary influence at home, now mom by default has to take over," said Kendrick. READ MORE - (also read coverage by CBN News)

Courageous Men Seminar Saturday 3/10/12

On Saturday March 10, 2012, the Washington Area Coalition of Men's Ministries will present its four-hour, multimedia, interactive seminar called "Courageous Men", inspired by the movie Courageous: Honor Begins at Home.
The seminar unpacks several themes from the movie such as What Does It Means To Be a Courageous Man? What is a Courageous Husband? What Does It Mean to Live and Leave a Godly Legacy for Your Children? How To Be Courageous at Work and in the World? Each session uses video clips followed by discussion time.
