The Fellowship of the Unashamed -- Is This for You? When Paul wrote "I am not ashamed of the Gospel for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes..." (Rom 1:16), he took an unyielding, unequivocal stand for the Gospel and became a marked man by ungodly people. But Paul knew the power of the gospel because it radically transformed him and it would revolutionize the world. If you've been touched by the power of this gospel, you have no excuse to be ashamed. In Christ you know your true identity, legacy and destiny.
Dr. Robert Morehead tells the story a young man from Rwanda who was forced by his tribe in 1980 to renounce Christ or face death. He refused to renounce Christ, and he was murdered on the spot. The night before he had written the following commitment which was found in his room: READ IT HERE! Can you make this kind of commitment for the Gospel of Christ and become a member of the Fellowship of the Unashamed? |

A Different Christmas Tale: "Big Men with Shining Garments and Drawn Swords" by Dave Brown, WACMM Director
In recent years there's been an extraordinary fascination with angels and an accompanying flood of speculative books, articles and commercial products (some even demonic), sort of an "angel mania". The culture, and even many in the church, often sentimentalize and trivialize angels reducing them to Christmas ornaments, charms and trinkets. Far from the chubby-faced childlike figures often pictured in popular art, Scripture describes angels as fearsome, powerful and even terrifying creatures, nothing like Christmas card material. Fear is often the word used when angels show up. C. S. Lewis once observed, "In Scripture the visitation of an angel is always alarming; it has to begin by saying "Fear not." The Victorian [modern] angel looks as if it were going to say, "There, there." READ MORE

An Investment Opportunity That'll Pay Eternal Dividends Stand with Us in Ministry to Men
Nearly a dozen years ago the Washington Area Coalition of Men's Ministries began in a tire store in northern Virginia with a small band of brothers with a heart to minister to men. Today WACMM is one of the largest and most innovative regional coalitions in the country. While WACMM has no salaried staff, we nevertheless incur necessary expenses for office space and equipment, administrative overhead, ministry outreach activities, developing resource materials for pastors and churches, and extensive travel. We rely on event income and generous donations to cover these costs. We believe Godly men are foundational and that if you reach men you also impact marriages, families, churches and the culture. If you share that commitment and believe in what we're doing, you can partner with us by making a ministry investment by clicking HERE or writing a check to "WACMM" and sending it to: WACMM, Box 2753, Springfield VA 22152. All contributions are tax deductible. As always we covet your prayers, Locking Arms Together,
Dave
