To: Pastors, Church Staff, Men's Leaders and DC-Area Men:
As you may know, WACMM has put together a brand new four-hour seminar for men-only based on the movie Fireproof. It is being scheduled in churches across the Mid-Atlantic Region. Using video clips of some of the strong masculine images and themes in the movie Fireproof, the seminar will help men "fireproof" their marriages, families and lives. With solid biblical teaching on authentic manhood, men will gain principles and practices to be godly husbands, loving fathers and faithful friends. During these difficult times of growing hardships, stresses and anxieties, men need encouragement, challenge and tools to withstand the fiery trials and temptations. We believe this seminar will help meet these needs and be well worth the investment of your time. We hope you can be with us for this unique, fast-paced and interactive morning and urge other men to join you. This special "EMALE" describes the purpose, format and outcomes of the seminar. Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

Seminar Format
|
We'll
be using video clips from the Fireproof movie to introduce and illustrate the issues
presented in the seminar's four topical sessions.
After each session, men will have time to process and discuss what
they've seen and heard at their tables. Discussion
questions will be provided to facilitate the interaction.
We'll also have time for
questions and answers and fime for men to consider how they want to act on what
they've experienced during the seminar. We'll also be recommending important
resources to help them in their follow-through.
It is not necessary for men to have seen the Fireproof movie to benefit from the presentations and table discussions.

John
Holt: "You can't love her
because you can't give her what you don't have."

TESTIMONY ABOUT THE FIREPROOF
|

|
"This movie has saved me. My wife and I have been separated for over
three years now, and I've tried everything to save my marriage. She's
at the point that she says that she doesn't want to be with me anymore.
I asked her to see this movie with me and she said no several times. I
went to see it twice by myself and then I asked again. She finally said
"yes," even though she was pretty cold during the movie. However, the
one thing the movie made me see as a man is that being good isn't good
enough. All along I thought of myself as a good man, but a soul-search
made me realize that I wasn't godly. My eyes have been opened because
of this movie. I'm doing The Love Dare, anyway, to make a better me."
