MolineTeam

The Moline United 97G White team currently plays in the IL-Iowa soccer league at the under 14 level of play. The team won the league in the fall at under 13.

The team is also playing at their own age, under 12, in tournaments. The team attended the Colinsville Spring Classic in St Louis, Missouri in the middle of April. The team also hosted the Armed Forces Day Cup. For the team's final tune up before USA CUP they will attend the Muscatine Summer Classic.

The coaching staff feels like the girls will be at their peak in July when they attend the tournament. They will also be looking to close in on the team's 100th win since the team was under 9's. Coach Brian Eaker says "He could not be prouder of what our team has done."

Homestay Program
Homestay Schwan's USA CUP has a long and successful tradition with the Homestay program.  This is a housing option offered to international teams that stay with Minnesota families for the week long tournament. The host families provide lodging and meals to international players, transport the international players to their games and tournament activities, and give the international players a chance to get to know a little about Minnesota.

There are many opportunities to host a player from another country during Schwan's USA CUP, July 11th-18th. The countries represented for Homestay 2010 are Denmark, Ecuador, Japan, Mexico, Morocco and Thailand. Once again, we have many boys teams in the U13 and U14 age category.

Homestay meetings are offered on June 29th or 30th. These meetings give valuable information to the host families about the program and the players that they will be hosting.

NSC Minnesota Stars Camps
Stars Pro Camp Logo
All camps are directed by Coerver coaching. Camp instructors are certified coaches and pro players (pro players will coach or make an appearance at all camp locations). As a commitment to providing a quality professional experience, all of our coaches follow the Coerver coaching code of conduct and uphold the standards of the child protection policies of Coerver Coaching International. The staff to camper ratio is 1:12. The Stars Pro Soccer Camps include: Mighty Mite and Pro Camps, Elite Camps, Tryout Prep Camps, Rec Camps, and Keeper Konnection Goalkeeper Training.  For more information or to register visit our website.

Elite Camps
For the high level player - Premier and Classic 1 players striving to play at the collegiate level. The Elite Camps emphasize skills training, functional and positional play using the revolutionary methods of Dutch Coaching Legend - Wiel Coerver.  It's a great alternative for those that cannot commit to an expensive residential camp.  The curriculum does more than show players HOW to perfect a skill, but WHEN and WHERE that skill needs to be executed in the 11 v 11 game.

An Elite Camp for girls will be held at St. Kate's University in St. Paul from July 5-9, 2010.  The boys Elite Camp will be held at Macalaster College in St. Paul from August 9-13, 2010.  Both camps are offered for ages 14-18.  They will run from Monday-Friday from 9:30 am - Noon.  Cost for the Elite Camps is $160.  Both camps also offer Keeper Konnection Goalkeeper Training.
The Elite Camp's coaching staff includes NSC MN Stars players as well as several college coaches.
