June Recap
July comes to an end! July offered a lot of firsts for the NSC All Sports Camp. Lacrosse week was a hit with the help of the Minnesota Swarm. Kids learned fundamentals and played plenty of games and definitely enjoyed the fastest growing team sport in the country. Week 5 featured hockey and ice sports and coincided with the largest soccer tournament in the Western Hemisphere, the Schwan's USA Cup, not to mention a visit back to the Science Museum featuring the heralded Star Wars exhibit. Tennis/volleyball week offered plenty of ground strokes, serves, bumps, and spikes. Our trip to Vertical Endeavors climbing wall was definitely a trip to remember and finally basketball/bowling week (week 7) featured trips to the NSC Sports Hall and Brunswick's Zone Bowling Alley. Not to bad of a month for some active campers! This week features football for boys and golf for girls. Aside from our field trip to Bunker Beach Water Park, kids will learn plenty of fundamentals and games in preparation for the much anticipated football season and... The Wal-Mart Cup Golf Tournament - all kids (not just All Sports kids but all North Metro athletes) are encouraged to play. |
