Track Fact
"Ask Bob!" Contest

Track Fact

The NSC Velodrome track surface is made of Afzelia - a slow-growing African hardwood.  Because this material is slow to mature, it's unlikely that any new tracks will be built from this material.  Our track is a unique treasure.

NEW: "Ask Bob!" Contest, Win a Free T-Shirt!

Bob Williams, NSC Velodrome Director has a storied cycling career, both on the road and on the track.  He's one of the most knowledgeable cycling authorities in Minnesota.  Bob has volunteered to share his expertise with us in the Ask Bob contest.

Each week, we will be running a contest for the best question submitted to Bob by newsletter readers.  The winning question, along with Bob's answer, will be posted in the next week's newsletter.  The winning submitter will receive a free Velodrome t-shirt and a free soda from the Velodrome concession stand.

Now's your chance to get an answer to that burning question you've been debating with your friends for years.  Ask Bob by clicking here!
