Nation's Best to Compete at NSC
 The action will be hot this summer with the introduction of two new world class events.
Saturday and Sunday June 7th and 8th the NSC Velodrome will host the MN Fixed Gear Classic. Olympic hopefuls, pros and elite amateurs from around the world will compete in this two-day extravaganza.
August 8th and 9th are the dates of the Midwest Sprint Challenge. Sprint specialists from across the country will go head to head against each other in Match Sprints, Keirins, and Team Sprints.

Thursday Night Lights Continue
The Thursday Night Lights series will begin on May 22nd and run every Thursday through September 11th. Race programs start at 7:00PM and will feature 12 races including Madisons, the Penn Cycle Points Race Series and always-thrilling sprints.

| Learn to Ride the Track
The NSC Velodrome offers several options for first-time track riders. No matter how long you've ridden a bicycle, we have a class for you!
Tuesday Introductory Track Class
The Introductory Track Class is a 4-week introduction to track cycling. You'll learn the basics of riding a fixed gear bike, staying upright on a steeply-banked track, riding in a pack and simple racing strategies. We will offer 4 sessions again this summer and classes will run on Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:30. The first class starts on May 6. Space is limited and classes typically fill early so apply early.

Cat 4 Road Racer Class
USAC licensed Cat 4 road racers can learn to ride the track in a special 2-night course, May 11 and 18. You'll learn the fundamentals of track racing and get short instruction in track race strategy.

Exclusive Women's Track Class
Designed exclusively for and led by women, our Women's Track Class offers a comfortable environment to ride the boards of the NSC Velodrome. This class runs Wednesdays from May 14-June 4. Bring your friends!
