Referee schedules for the NSC CUP, May 26-28, 2007 will be available on Monday, May 21. Referee schedules will available online. Referees can check their schedules by visiting our website here. All registered referees will receive an email when the referee schedules have been posted online. Please do not call or email to inquire about your schedule. Referees will be asked to accept their assignments online at the time of schedule posting. NSC CUP Referee headquarters will be located in the Silver Room of the Schwan Center. Referee Headquarters will be open at 7:30 AM on Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, May 27. All referees need to check in 45 minutes prior to their first scheduled game time to receive their field assignments.

The NSC is now accepting applications for referees interested in officiating our Adult Coed Summer League. The league begins June 3. All games are played on Sundays at 5:00 PM and 6:45 PM and referees are scheduled for double headers.

The Wal-Mart All American Cup, June 15-17, 2007, is less than five weeks away and the tournament is still looking for more quality referees. If you are already registered to referee this tournament, encourage your fellow referees to sign up. The All American Cup will host boys and girls teams U09-U19 in all divisions. Who: Gentry Thatcher

 

Role: Schwan's USA CUP Referee Committee

 

Duties: Gentry joined the NSC Referee Committee in the fall of 2006. He has brought he has brought a fresh outlook and new ideas to the committee.

 

Resides: Edina, MN

 

How Long: Gentry has been a referee for 36 years and he attended his first USA CUP in 1992.

 

Other Roles: Gentry achieved a USSF grade 6 and is currently an emeritus 15. Additionally, he is an assessor, mentor, and instructor as well as the assistant state referee administrator.

The Schwan's USA CUP Weekend field is set. The tournament is not accepting any more teams. There are currently 446 teams registered for Schwan's USA CUP Weekend and there is a waiting list in every group.
