Greetings!
Good things come in Threes - and our latest special is no exception. Big savings when you order 16x20, 20x24 or 20x30 Lumira prints in sets of three. Read below to find out more... In our last newsletter, we said we'd like to feature YOU in our twice monthly e-letters. Unfortunately, we linked to an incorrect email address. So, if you'd like me to interview you for a feature in our newsletter, please contact me - either by phone (800.777.1141) or email. We'll run the first interview in our next newsletter. In the meantime, we'd like to introduce you to the vice-president of Fine Print Imaging, Linda Helm. Kate Dardine Editor "I
prefer winter and fall, when you feel the bone structure of the
landscape - the loneliness of it, the dead feeling of winter.
Something waits beneath it, the whole story doesn't show." ~Andrew Wyeth

The Big Three
|
|
January 16-31!
No, not Harvard, Princeton
and Yale. And not Truman, Stalin and Churchill. Not even Larry, Curly and Mo. No, much, much
better than that - it's the Lumira Big Three! Choose your trio and SAVE up to $48
off our regular pricing:
Buy three 16x20's and pay only $57!
Buy three 20x24's and pay only $72!
Buy three 20x30's and pay only $87!
You can pick three of the same image,
or three different images, BUT, you
have to print them all the same size and
same paper surface (gloss, matte or luster). You can take full advantage of
the special pricing and order sets of three in all three sizes!
Offer good on previously printed Lumira prints only. New images must be proofed
first (at our regular price) or sent in ready-to-print.

"Conversations Equal Sales" by Kate Dardine
|
|
My last post was all about getting people to come to your site, wander
around and look at all the beautiful images. Now, how do you turn
lookers into buyers?
According to Clint Watson, creator of the Fine Art Studio Online
websites, the only way you sell art is through "connecting with real
people and having conversations with them." (Clint worked in a high-end
gallery for many years before starting his own company - so he knows a
bit about selling art.) "Well," you may wonder, "how am I going to have
conversations with people when I can't see them - and am not even sure
they are out there?"
You know the old saying - when there is a
will, there is a way? Assuming you have the will, here are a few ways
to engage in "conversation" with the viewers on your website.

Meet the Staff:
|
|
Linda Helm, Vice President of Fine Print Imaging
As a partner to Mark Lukes in life and in business, Linda's role has
evolved over the years and now includes fiscal oversight, strategic
planning and all HR related concerns. She is well suited to the role
having come from a management background in the human services arena.

asked about the challenges and high points of her work at Fine Print,
Linda states, "The challenges involve the many technological changes in
the photography industry in the last decade, the retooling of our
business and our staff based on those changes and the learning required
to hold it all together in a rapidly changing market and a floundering
economy. It is both intimidating and exhilarating to be in business
today.
The high points for me all have to do with people. The folks that we
share our days (and some nights) with here at Fine Print are, without
exception, some of the best people I know. They are creative, giving,
funny, weird, exacting, dedicated and loyal. And then there is the
diverse group of customers who trust us to articulate their artistic
vision..."
