Greetings!
Mother Nature has decided this weekend is the time for our first blizzard of the season, hello December! Of course the weathermen said the snow would be here a few hours ago, and so far the sky here is clear. But I'm sure by the time we all wake up in the morning, there will be a white crust covering New England.
But I've decided this is just a good opportunity for me to finish up my holiday knitting. What are the chances I can re-knit one hat, finish one hat, and knit yet another hat and a set of legwarmers by Christmas? The last hat and the legwarmers are my husbands idea. I love him, but he also called the 24th my "day off" when I get to clean the house and cook for the 12 people coming for dinner. HA. Actually, I'm really looking forward to it.
As we run around getting ready for the holidays, it is too easy to forget what it is all about. I may joke about having to clean and cook, but I don't care. The reward for all that work is getting to spend time with our friends and family. I hope that everyone reading this gets that same reward. Whether you light a menorah, leave out cookies for Santa, or air your grievances around the festivus pole, I hope you get to do it with the people you love.
There won't be a Sunday Sale for the next couple of weeks, I've decided to give myself a little rest for the holidays. But while I'm taking a break, I want all of you to have a little something too! So, there will be free shipping on all orders placed on our website from now until the end of the year.
Happy Holidays, Happy New Year, and as always...
Happy Knitting!
