I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday season so far! We were open late this past Friday night along with the other shops in our area to celebrate Holiday in The Depot. One of the great things about our new location is we are now part of a wonderful community. We got to see Santa, and Clifford (the big red dog), and celebrate the season with everyone in town!

 

Now, do I dare I ask the dreaded question? How are you doing with your holiday knitting? I've been so busy the last few weeks I didn't realize how close I'm cutting it with some of my knitted gifts. The man in the red suit is due to arrive in less than two weeks and the festival of lights will be over before the end of the week. Eeek! At least the party and eating season continues through the end of the month...

 

But for those like me who figure they can whip out a few last minute gifts, I'd like to make a few suggestions. Are you familiar with Knitty? This wonderful online knitting magazine is a great reasource for FAB patterns. For this week's sale I've picked out a couple staple yarns that only need a single skein of to make a GREAT holiday gift!

 

Try making a pair of Fetching Fingerless Gloves with just one skein of Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran.  OR, maybe Coronet, a cute hate with a cabled brim out of one skein of Lamb's Pride Worsted.
