A Christmas Miracle and Happy New Year |
We hope you all had a blessed Christmas. Ours was really good and family-focused. The head deacon at Upper Holloway Baptist decided to do the Christmas Day service so we stayed home all day in our PJs for the first time in about 13 years. I still led the Christmas Eve Communion service and preached twice on Sunday because Pastor Brian was staying in Eastbourne with his mother who was under the weather.The main reason I'm writing is to let you know we received a very substantial "gift" - a real Christmas miracle - this week from an unexpected source locally so the pressure is off financially. Combined with support we're getting from the States (especially FBC Clermont, FL, and Southside Baptist in Huntsville, AL) we should be able to wait out the application process for a new work visa.God is so good and faithful to provide. The amazing thing is that it was such a surprise - I'm still trying to process the surreal experience. Only God could have prompted this person to be so generous and they wish to remain anonymous!! Thanks again for your prayers and support. May God bless you all and grant you a very Happy New Year.
