White Christmas Bookmakers have slashed the odds that Britain will have a white Christmas for 2009. That's right, it's not unusual for thousands of people to visit their local betting shop to place their bets this time of year. According to reports, the odds for snow in London on Christmas day are now 2/1. Well, we've already had two or three days of intermittent snow and ice but my money is staying nice and warm in my pocket.
Staying warm, however, has been a challenge lately as our temps have been hovering in the low 30s. In fact, many of the sidewalks are iced over at the moment and quite slippery as AJ found out on his way to Sunday service. Did I mention that AJ arrived from Florida on Thursday? He'll be with us until the first week of the new year.

In November I attended the first National Street Pastors Conference and 6th graduation in central London. Islington Street Pastors
had six graduates and Camden had two. We've also had two or three nights on patrol since the last newsletter. Things continue to be relatively quiet since a certain club is now closing early but we've been giving away a lot of flip-flops to grateful young ladies that are either too drunk or too tired to walk on their high heels anymore.
