Lew and Alex
My friend 'Alex' enjoyed a BBQ hotdog at our church picnic on the 4th of July.
Mystery Dinner Guests
The 4th of July was also Ashley's 16th birthday. She celebrated with a Murder Mystery Dinner party. She would also like to thank the WMU at FBC Clermont for remembering her birthday with a gift.
Southend Guys
In July, the Tuesday drop-in group took an annual trip to Southend-on-Sea, home of the world's longest pleasure pier. Here I'm posing with a couple of the guys and the pier waaaay in the background.
 AJ and Zoey
We're thankful Zoey got to see her big brother, AJ, on her trip to Florida.
Beddingfields
We were thrilled to visit with the Beddingfields from Clermont, even if it was only a few hours. You can see their cruise ship in the background at Greenwich docks.
Independence Day
The old joke goes something like this. "Do they have the '4th of July' in England?" Answer: "Of course they do. They just don't celebrate it!" Well that's not true and I have the proof in pictures. They also know a lot about the good ol' USA as I learned from their quiz answers. They also like hotdogs and watermelon! Who knew?

First Night in Camden Town
We recently had our first night as Street Pastors in Camden Town starting with a commissioning service. It was an honour to have Rev. Les Isaacs, the founder of Street Pastors, speak and motivate us. We had a productive night with 12 street pastors and 2 observers making first contact and were well received by the bouncers and door staff at the pubs and clubs. Even KFC had a doorman! Fortunately it was a quiet night with no incidents or brawls. Our next nights on "patrol" will be July 31st in Camden and August 14th in Islington.

Prayer Requests
We've nearly been here a year now. Thank you for your faithful support and keeping us in your prayers. Thank you especially for praying Zoey as she traveled to Florida and back. She had a wonderful time.
  • Please pray for Ashley and Zach as they go to youth camp in a few weeks.
  • Join us in prayer for a successful Holiday Bible Club (VBS) in early August.
  • Please remember Islington and Camden Street Pastors on July 31st and August 14th.
  • Please keep praying for our work with the homeless and hungry and new strategies for September (after August break).
  • Please continue praying for my British-Nigerian doctor friend. He has found work but his housing arrangements are still coming together.
  • Please pray for John, one of the men that used to come to our Monday drop-in. He now suffers from dementia and can't leave his flat.
  • Please lift up a young lady from our Monday drop-in named Rhianan, hospitalized after a drug overdose.
  • Please pray for Chevonne on life support following a heart attack 3 days after our day-trip to Southend.
  • Please remember to pray for my friend Alex. He's still struggling with alcohol and isolation especially when he has money to spend.
    Blessings,
