Bro. Lew in the News Articles about Islington Street Pastors appeared in two local newspapers this week: the Islington Tribune and Islington Gazette. Both featured Carol, the eldest Street Pastor on our team. The Tribune article also includes an interview with yours truley. Although the printed newspaper included my photo with the police superintendant, I wasn't worthy of the online version for some reason. But you've already seen the photo anyway. NOTE: The Gazette website was not up to date when I sent this newsletter but keep checking back if you would like to see a photo of Carol in uniform as it appeared in the printed edition.
Next week I'll be attending the National Street Pastors Convention which includes a reception at Parliament. Our next night out on "patrol" will be Friday, March 20th. Family News- Angie and the kids are all doing great. They miss their Florida friends and family but are coping well.
- AJ has started working for my brother at his surf shop at Panama City Beach.
- We have a buyer for our mini-van!!
- Zach and Angie had a birthday in February. Zach turned 14 and Angie is now 40-something.
- My birthday is March 13th in case you were wondering.
Prayer Requests- Please keep praying for Islington Street Pastors. We need to find a grant for funding my position as coordinator. So far it is strictly a volunteer position.
- Pastor Brian appreciates your prayers following the sudden death of his father. Please remember to lift him up as he leads our two churches.
- Please pray for Angie as she attempts to begin a Ladies' Bible Study in the near future.
- Please pray that more individuals and churches will begin to support us in prayer and finances.
Be blessed and know we love and appreciate you!
