On the Road
All
is well with the Ecker family, though we still do not have confirmation that AJ's
visa has been approved as of Friday afternoon! All the others are in
hand. If he is denied, he'll still movie to London with us but only stay until the
first of the year.
We
cleared out our house in Clermont on Wednesday and made it up to
grandma's house in Panama City around midnight! It was a seven hour
drive pulling a rental trailer with AJ's little pickup truck. The rest
of the family was following behind us in our minivan.
We
spent most of the day Thursday and Friday morning sorting and storing
(in grandma's attic and spare bedroom) our leftover furniture (antiques
mostly) and family items that are not going to London.
Angie and I will be singing this Sunday at her home church in Panama City. On Tuesday, we'll be sharing our testimony and future plans with their senior adult group.
We'll be heading back to Clermont next Saturday, 16 August, and spend a
few nights with friends. Our flights are for Tuesday, arriving at
Heathrow on Wednesday, 10 AM. We originally planned
to leave on Monday but those flights filled up too fast.
House for Rent and Vans for Sale
We still need your help to rent our house in Clermont. It's a 4BR/2BA with 1838 sq ft on a 1/4 acre. The rent is $1200 so if you know someone that would like to see it have them call Janet at Rocker Realty, 352-394-4501 (see photo below).
