Free Symposium: "Building Communication, Strengthening Communities for California's Diverse Patient Population"
    Cal State University Fullerton

Will you be in the Southern California area on April 25th?

On Wednesday, April 25th, Language Line Services, together with its collaborative program partners, California State University Fullerton (Map) and Quality Interactions, are pleased to present a unique, full day program focused on:

Building Communication, Strengthening Communities for California's Diverse Patient Population

A free symposium for health care providers and health plans that addresses quality standards, regulatory compliance, competency as well as best practices and solutions to provide language access and culturally competent care for the California's growing diverse patient populations.

Language Line Services' Language Access Center for Excellence and its partners, invite healthcare administrators across the state to join us for a unique "no-fee" educational program to address requirements by The Joint Commission and how California hospitals can ensure effective communication in a cost-contained environment while maintaining quality and excellence in patient and community-centered care.

A series of educational sessions will be presented by subject matter experts to cover issues that California's health care system and health insurers face on a daily basis, and the impact these issues can have on quality care, patient safety and outcomes.

We will also hear from a panel of experts and invite the audience to engage in an active discussion with panelists. California's diverse communities have changed dramatically over the past 10 years. What is next in terms of emerging technology and solutions and what do hospitals now need to know when implementing an organizational language access program.

A complete agenda will be released by April 9th.

RSVP with your name, organization, title, address, email, and phone number, to Mel Sibayan msibayan@languageline.com

Please also indicate if you have any special needs

This is an educational program open to all healthcare providers, compliance officers and hospital leadership.
