Greetings!

Having it all in life is everyone's dream.  Yet making our dreams reality is quite different from the fantasies in our heads.  In my fantasies, my world is perfect. I create what I want, when I want. In the real world I have to wait and modify my behavior based on external feedback.  Something else we don't get in our fantasies is uncooperative people and circumstances.  It seems to take forever to get all the things when it comes to the now reality. This can leave us frustrated if we don't relax a bit and account for a bit of time travel in our head.  When it comes to realistically saying how long something is going to take, most of us will say, I think I can have that in about 5 minutes.
 
The self help gurus and images of super heroes don't really help much to relax us into small bite size achievable goals. The message always seems to be that we can have everything and we can have it now.
 
Overwhelmed by this all, we throw up our hands, give up and say, see.. I messed that up yet again. The trick to all of this as I see it, is to raise the level of intensity.  Raise the bar of our mind power.  We don't have to back down from what we want, we just need to be a little more flexible as to "when" we get it. If we persist, eventually as those gurus say we CAN have it all.  I think they just left out the part of how long it is going to take.
 Fitness Tip Of The Month
 
RAISE THE INTENSITY
 
Last month we talked about PMA or positive mental attitude.  I figured since you are thinking such awesome thoughts by now, I may as well raise the bar.
 
That is exactly what I am going to do.  It is time to turn up the volume on our goals. It is time to stop squeaking like a mouse and start roaring like a lion. Everyone knows the lion is the king of the jungle right? With a ferocious attitude of intensity and commitment, you will stop at nothing.  You will not let a funny little thing like time get in your way of having it anyway.
 
Focus right now on what you want.  Really focus on that. Got it? Write it down if you want to. Now, answer the following questions:

* What are you willing to do to have that?

* How much energy have you been putting towards this goal?

* How much attention have you been giving it?

* What is stopping you from going for it full force?

* What has to happen in order for you to have a shift in your thinking to be willing to do what it takes?

* How can you increase your energy for this goal by 100%?

Can you imagine if you increased your energy output by 100%? What would you be doing differently from that which you are doing now? How will your life be different?
 
I love focus exercises. We have such a hard time today focusing. With our computers and our email and everything else to distract us, sometimes what we want gets away from us.  We have to spend every free second we can, creating and making it happen, if we really want to achieve important goals.  I often find myself saying, focus, focus, focus.  There is just so much to look at, I want to focus on what is important to me.
 
What is in our hearts will stay, we may as well get used to those urges and go ahead and fulfill them.  We may as well be successful, what else do we have going on?
