Greetings!
 
It is competition season. We are full swing into high gear.  I just went recently to the Max Muscle Naturals where I got a chance to check out the Bikini Division.  It is new, it is exciting, and if you have a smokin' hot bod, this is the perfect venue for you to strut your stuff on stage. The attire for suits is more relaxed and open to interpretation, the posing, well I won't really call it that, I will call it more of a cat walk.  The turns are half turn to the back instead of quarter turn and the individual walk has a lot of flexibility to be cute. If you have seen a "bikini" contest, it is exactly that. 

Coming from a modeling background myself, I find this division extremely exciting, if you plan on doing bikini, shoot me an email for one on one posing sessions. Like I said, I used to be a runway model so this is so easy and fun.  I will get you feeling amazing in just one session.  The rest of the diet and training is not as nearly intense as figure, so it should be a lot of fun the shows coming up.
 
So, now that I have got you visualizing yourself onstage, that is what this month's tip is all about... VISUALIZING!

It never ceases to amaze me the power of the human mind. I have seen athletes lose their mind right at the end of a show prep when they were in amazing condition, and I have seen competitors, that have shocked and amazed me at how they were able to get their body to "obey" them and do exactly as they wished.  It is all in our mind.  Our mental visualizations.  This is huge to your success as a fitness, figure of bikini competitor.  Visualize how you want our body to look, feel, and how you are walking onstage.  How you are acting, how your hair, make-up and details will be.  All of that, just go to town fantasizing about the exact picture you are wanting. 
 
It all seems so simple, yet I see people sabotage themselves time and time again.  So what's the catch? What is the mental secret?  How do you visualize your perfect body while training and then come home and see yourself in the mirror 20 pounds away from your goal and have peace? The secret is in being ok with the gap between where you currently are and where you are going.  People visualize all the time, but when it does not come to them in, say 30 seconds, they ditch it altogether and say, oh well, visualization does not work.  well, I am here to tell you not only does it work... it is the only thing that works!!!!! So remember to create beautiful wonderful images of yourself, keep practicing until you get really good, and when you get really good, keep doing it.  It never ends.  Make your dreams so big in your mind that all the resources you need will flow to you naturally and easily.  You can make competing easy! Fun and easy! Do you believe me? I do it every show! I know it can be done, because I do it.  Let's do it together.
