Greetings!
Welcome to my first official Monthly Newsletter. You may have been on my mailing list for months or even years and there have been some changes for the better with my mailing lists. You may be on more than one newsletter, and I will be sending out 3 newsletters a month:
1. Monthy Newsletter 2. Figure Competitor Tips 3. Web Design Tips and Tricks
Also all of my mailing lists will be archived. And don't be surprised if you get a random mailing here and there as well. (I am kind of nuts like that!)
I am hoping to offer such valuable information that you will want to come back to a previous newsletter, so now you will be able to. Also be sure to send me an email if there is a topic you would love to see covered in one of the categories.
So, without further ado, here is my February Newsletter...

Caloric Requirements
DEFICIT AT A GLANCE: Many people I talk to and most of my clients when they first come to me are in a calorie deficit, and I mean a major calorie deficit. People are so deprived of calories that they make binging so easy. What else are you going to do after a week of not eating enough food. That's right, binge. It is just inevitable. The funny thing is people binge then they feel guilty for eating to much. Really? Comical actually. Now I now you may not be thinking it is any laughing matter because you are struggling. But let me make it very easy for you. You do not need to be counting calories every day putting them in fitday.com. Gosh, don't you have better things to do?
THE FORMULA: Here is a simple formula to make life really easy on you. Take your weight and multiply it by 15. That is your maintenance calories. So for me that is 155 x 15 = 2325. Now I want weight loss right? So I subtract 500 calories (maximum) now I am at 1825. Now I can eat enough food to sustain my life. This formula does not of course calculate in the thermic effect of food or your daily calorie requirements based on your energy output. But it is real simple. Once you have gotten yourself to stop binging, you can then increase your cardio little by little until you start to see fat melting away.
MODERATING PROGRESS: You should have a way now to moderate your progress. Don't give it two days, then say it is not working then start to binge again. Give yourself at least 4 weeks just to find homeostasis. A good set point for you in order to get you to stop binging. Then after 4 weeks, start to increase your aerobic activity little by little until you see results. Always adjust the program, take pictures of yourself, monitor yourself, get on a program with a friend, have some sort of way to track your progress to make sure it is working. Most importantly have fun and get off the binge bandwagon. |

Dietex by VPX
WHY I LOVE IT: This product is a lifesaver when it comes to appetite suppression. The main ingredient of course being Hoodia. Now I have tried other products with Hoodia and even just Hoodia straight, but I don't know what it is about Dietex but it works wonders. Anyone who knows me even slightly will agree Dietex by VPX is probably my most raved about product of all time, therefore very fitting to start off with it in my first official newsletter.
HOW TO USE IT: Upon starting a calorie restricted diet or new nutrition program take 2 tabletes 3 times a day for the first week. Then after the first week take two tablets 2 times a day. The trick with this product is to get it in your system before your hunger gets out of control. Now this is providing you are not decreasing your calories too much (see tip of the month) Becasue we all know if we are not eating enough that is not a good thing.
WHERE TO GET IT: Bodybuilding.com has the greatest prices on Dietex I have seen. Actually the greatest prices of most any products out there. CLICK TO ORDER 60 tablets $18.89 |
