Lather Up!!!
Do you stop to think about what’s in your soap? Every morning we jump in the shower and lather up with a nice chunk of SOAP, but do we know what could be in our soap?
Turn over that soap box and check out what you’re “moisturizing” your body with.
Here are a few things you don’t want to see on that package......The big one is Sodium Laureth Sulfate, this is actually a chemical detergent!! Propylene glycol, which is a used in anti freeze, parabens, which have been linked to cancer and of course our beautiful FD&C dyes, which are horrible and amongst other things contain petroleum! So tomorrow morning when you get in that shower to start your day off, start your skin off right with some good, nourishing soaps! Handmade soaps are great most of them contain vegetable oils like coconut or olive oil and/or glycerine, which naturally draws moisture to your skin. If you prefer a gel, just make sure it’s a castile soap and not a chemical detergent. There’s nothing better to start the day off right!
Remember that great vegetable, glycerine soap I just told you about....
