PLANT SEEDS...REAP THE BENEFITS!

I was recently watching the Olympics (the biathlon event) while researching a topic for an upcoming speaking engagement when I came across this quote from Dr Richard C. Halverson:

"You can offer your ideas to others as bullets or as seeds. You can shoot them or sow them. Ideas used as bullets will kill inspiration and motivation. Ideas used as seeds will take root, grow and bear fruit in the life in which they are planted. But there's a risk; once it becomes part of those in whom it' s planted, you probably will get no credit for originating the idea. But if you're willing to do without the credit... you'll reap a rich harvest".

I couldn't stop thinking of how Dr Halverson's quote paralleled what we thrive for at our CAPS monthly learning seminars.  The spirit of CAPS is for our guest speakers to plant seeds...of wisdom...of insights...of how to, that will take root and hopefully bear fruit in the life of that person who invested their time and trust with us.  I believe most people already know what challenges or problems they are currently facing and deep down, they want to do better.

Let me encourage you to attend our upcoming learning seminar in March - "Meet the Pros" and experience first hand receiving these seeds.  Our guest speakers may not gain much credit for originating the idea(s) that got you moving forward but they will reap a rich reward for doing so!

"It's amazing what can be accomplished, when you just don't give a rip who gets the credit." - Jean (JJ) Brun
