Why wear clothes for a full body massage?

There are a couple of basic reasons.

First and foremost, Many of us feel uncomfortable being nude around strangers. (although draped and in a professional setting) Some of us don't mind. But why deprive yourself of getting a massage because of that?

Secondly, many massages like Thai massage, sports massages and cranial sacral are typically performed while the client is dressed.

Lastly, many of us just don't feel comfortable in our own skin. We know we could use a massage but that embarrassed feeling sets in and we deprive ourselves of all the healing benefits of therapeutic massage.
Full body massage wearing loose clothing can actually give the therapist more freedom to work on areas of the body that would be exposed during a nude massage.

In fact, wearing comfortable clothing allows the therapist the opportunity to provide the client a fuller range of motion during many of the stretching maneuvers that are practiced in body work without exposing more sensitive areas.
