RISK: Consequences of a Near Term Birth

Risk is a very human twenty minute educational DVD that helps patients and their providers experience potential outcomes of elective late preterm delivery through the stories of two moms. Dr. Lauria and Dr. Edwards provide the medical context in language that is accurate and understandable. They hope this movie will serve as an extender for providers, particularly to be used with those patients who are anxious to deliver early.  The message is not new but the manner in which Mr. Ewers delivers it touches the heart and opens the mind. NNEPQIN is very grateful to have worked with such a gifted artist.

The final version of the data collection form in both PDF and Word versions and the final version of the data dictionary have been posted to the SIVB Extranet   The data dictionary has changed since the last update so please discard your current one and download the new one. (Please contact me if you do not have access to the Extranet as that is essential for retrieving documents and resources).

3. Remember, all teams will start data collection for Phase II on March 1st.  New hospitals joining the SIVB initiative for Phase II will complete 2 months of baseline data as well as start data collection on March 1st. (Please contact me if you have questions)
