Kangaroo Care

information We have had a few centers inquire about evidence supporting that kangaroo care, especially for premature infants, is safe.  The concern has been that the stress of kangaroo care will lead to destabilization of clinical condition.  This epub - Short Spell Kangaroo Mother Care and Its Differential Physiological Influence in Subgroups of Preterm Babies -  provides further support that kangaroo care is not only safe but can be clinically stabilizing.
