Notes from Marty...
Our final Learning Sessions for Phase 1 of Exclusive Human Milk in Nurseries and NICUs is fast approaching. The first half of the Learning Session day will be an opportunity to review and celebrate the impact of Phase 1 activities on increasing the use of human milk in our own facilities and across the state of North Carolina. The second half of the Learning Session day will focus on planning for Phase 2 of these initiatives. In this capacity all attendees at the Learning Sessions will serve as members of the Expert Teams planning Phase 2 efforts. Please take the time to check your busy calendars and try to find a way to join us for both the final Learning Session for Phase 1 and the initial Expert Meeting for Phase 2 of Exclusive Human Milk. Learning Session Three
Human Milk Initiative - Well Baby Track Learning Session Three is scheduled for Tuesday, November 15th, 2011 at the McKimmon Center in Raleigh NC. Up to 5 team members - all three primary team members (physician champion, nurse champion, senior hospital administrator) are encouraged to attend. Lunch and materials will be provided at no cost.
