 September 27th from 7:30-9:00am is our next webinar. We will continue to work on trimming our webinars to an hour and will plan future webinars to end around 8:30am.
I'd like to 'feature' at least one of our hospitals on the September 27th webinar and have you share with the group ways your team has made strides towards decreasing our c-section delivery rates. We'd also like to hear a few barriers that you have either overcome or would like input from the group on how to work on those barriers. If you are interested, please contact me.

Data Collection

Remember we've pushed the data collection deadline back to the 20th of the month. This means reports will come out a little later than previous months; however we would like to continue getting reports out by the end of the month so keep the data coming!
If you need your report before the end of the month, contact Jessica and she'll work on making it happen.

| Learning Session |
|
 Our next face-to-face learning session is November 2nd in Raleigh at the McKimmon Center. We'd like share some of the work among hospitals so please plan to bring 15 or so copies of Induction of Labor Consents or any other tangible items you'd like to share with the group. We plan to have some structured team time as well look at having a Phase II of this project. So come with your great ideas on what YOU think Phase II should look like.

We will miss Kate on this initiative as she has been an enormous help in improving our c-section delivery rates in North Carolina. In her new role with the Pregnancy Medical Home program for Medicaid patients with the Community Care of North Carolina, some of us will continue to work with her and see the fruits of her labor.
I'm pleased to be working with such a wonderful group of people with the desire to improve quality of perinatal care in North Carolina. We truly are working to make North Carolina the best place to be born!
