Upcoming important dates, next steps for the SIVB Initiative...

(The Support for Birth initiative's weekly email newsletter comes out every Tuesday.  As a reminder, it is your job as key contact to share relevant information with other team members at your hospital.)

Next all-team webinar: July 26 at 7:30am

conference call We are going to continue with our monthly webinars; as in the past several months, they will be held on the 4th Tuesday of the month, 7:30-9:00am.  Please make sure your team members are aware of July's webinar date.  We will use this time to look at an update of the May data, which will now include all participating hospitals, and maybe a preview of June's data trends, if teams are able to get their data in on time (by Monday July 11).

Reminders:

reminders1. Be sure to use the revised (shorter!) data collection form, accessible here.
2. Please consider joining the PQCNC maternal health listserv if you are not already a member.  To do this, email Keith to let him know you would like to be added to the list.  This allows you to exchange information with staff from women's services in hospitals across the state.

Submit your team status report by next week

learning session If you were at the learning session but did not turn in your Team Status Report, please fax it to Keith or email it to Kate.  If you need a copy of the Team Status Report template, click here.  These reports allow us to understand how best PQCNC can support your efforts on this initiative and gives us a clearer picture of what each hospital hopes to accomplish.  Several hospitals have set some very exciting goals, and we hope to hear from the rest of the group about what you have been working on and what you plan to address over the next several months.
