May Data As we saw at the learning session, the May data is showing some potentially exciting downward trends, but we need all of the data in to see if the trends hold up. Please complete your data entry ASAP. May reports will go out at the end of this week. Many thanks to all of the teams who continue to submit data in a timely manner. The Future of Data Collection PQCNC will support data collection, data entry and data reports through the end of 2011. We strongly encourage all SIVB teams to continue to submit data each month. This initiative is complex and it may take several months to see results from the work that is currently underway. June data should be submitted by July 10. Let us know if this is not going to be possible at your hospital. Make sure you start using the revised data collection form (see below) Revised (shorter!) Data Collection Form Click here for the new and improved data collection form. The questions that have been removed are those that have been some of the hardest information to find and have produced the least reliable data, including the questions about starting/stopping oxytocin and the timing of PROM prior to admission. Please let Kate or Jessica know if you have any questions about the new version of the form.

June Learning Session follow-up
Thank you to the 19 hospital teams who were represented at the June 7 learning session. If you did not turn in your "Team Status Report" please do so as soon as possible, by emailing it to Kate or faxing it to Keith Cochran's attention at: 919-966-3034. For the five teams who were not able to come to Raleigh last week, please download a copy of the Team Status Report, complete and submit. We would like to have a status report from every team by the end of the month. Those teams who turned in a hard copy Status Report on June 7 will receive an electronic version by the end of the day today. All presentations have been posted on the PQCNC website. Most can be found here or by going to www.pqcnc.org, clicking "Initiatives", then "SIVB" and then "LS2". The data presentation can be found by logging in to the website, then clicking "Extranet" under "SIVB".
