Data collection forms

data entry
I will be speaking with each team in the next week about data collection. At this point you should have strong systems in place to capture data on your forms needed for each mother baby dyad from admission to discharge. Additionally, I will be brainstorming with you about getting the collected data into the website.

Virtual Learning Sessions

conference call Please mark your calendars so that as many of your team as possible can attend the learning sessions on February 23 and March 23 via webinar and phone from 2-4 pm. We are hearing from teams about the work you are doing in our focus areas: supporting optimal feeding intentions in L&D and showing mother's how to breastfeed and express milk.  Since a picture is worth a lot, the following two short videos,  Hand Expression of Breastmilk and Maximizing Milk Production with Hands On Pumping, are recommended by Polly Sisk, one of our clinical leaders in North Carolina. These could be just the images you need to get the staff "all on one page" providing support for hand expression!
