Data Collection Continues |
|
Many teams are entering the 2010 data into the web data base and we are grateful for the time and effort to do so. (Please contact me before the learning sessions next week if you have not started entering data) Data collection continues throughout the initiative and there is one small and one BIG difference in the 2011 data plan. The small addition is the discharge destination of the infant. The Big change is that data collection for the shift data begins on the shift the baby was born and includes the discharge shift. This is the only way your data will be capable of reflecting your exclusive human milk rate for the sample of mother baby dyads.

Two protocols you might be interested in viewing are guidelines for management of jaundice in the breastfeeding infant equal to or greater than 35 weeks' gestation and a model breastfeeding policy.
