Key Contacts
This weekly email newsletter goes to the key contact for each hospital in the Support for Birth initiative. We have also added additional team members at some hospitals who have asked to be included on the distribution list. If you are not the right key contact for your team, please let us know who it should be. If additional team members would like to receive the weekly email, give Keith their email addresses.
If there is a "data champion" for your team who is not the key contact, please let Jessica know how to reach this person. Jessica will be following up with individual teams about specific data questions.

Maternity quality of care legislation introduced in Congress |
Last week, a bipartisan bill was introduced that would promote maternity quality of care at the federal level. This bill, the Partnering to Improve Maternity Care Quality Act of 2010, would identify an initial set of national, evidence-based measures for maternity care. To read more about this bill, click here to access the press release from Rep. Eliot Engel (D-NY-17). Of note, this bill is co-sponsored by Rep. Sue Myrick (R-NC-9) from North Carolina.
