Still to come: Scotland-Tartan Week
 AMERICAN-SCOTTISH FOUNDATION® NEWSLETTER
Dear Friend,

What a week for the American-Scottish Foundation®! Tuesday and Wednesday saw us host two fantastic events:

The Life & Legacy of Andrew Carnegie at the Museum of American Finance. We wish to thank our distinguished panel for an engaging evening: Vartan Gregorian, President, Carnegie Corporation of New York (Introduction); Peter Krass, Award-winning author of Carnegie (Moderator); Ellen Condliffe Lagemann, Levy Institute Research Professor, Bard College; Martyn Evans, Chief Executive, Carnegie UK Trust; Anthony Marx, President, New York Public Library.

We would also like to thank the Museum of American Finance for working with us, and the Scottish Government and Scottish Development International for helping to make the event possible.

If you missed Tuesday's event, you can still visit the ANDREW CARNEGIE FORGING PHILANTHROPY display at the Museum of American Finance  through October 2012.

At Joe's Pub at the Public Theater last night, we enjoyed some of Scotland's freshest musical talent: Song of Return, who gave their debut performance in the US, alongside unique talent; Phamie Gow. If you missed the show, you can still catch the next gig on Saturday at the Mercury Lounge - full details below.

Please visit our website regularly for additional news & updates and please 'like' us on Facebook so we can keep you informed!
