This weekend we decided to change things up and do a little boondocking at a antique festival.  You feel like your actually doing some real camping versus just moving your temporary housing around from place to place.  Well at least until the generator gets turned on and it's back to the modern age. And festivals love RV'ers!  Most promoters will bend over backwards to insure your stay brings you back the next year.  We almost become part of the attraction, if people see RV's parked out in the lot they assume this must be a good festival.  And RV's tend to multiply, get a few RV'ers at a festival one year and you generally see them double in numbers the following years.  If you haven't done any away from the campground camping yet you should give it a try.  You might just find another excuse to get out and RV.
