Greetings!

Breaker one nine can I get a radio check?  I remember when I was a kid back in the 70's, CB's where all the rage.  Everyone had a handle (radio name) and I also seem to remember authorities warning that channel 19 was used for emergency updates and not conversations.  Fast forward to the start of my RV'ing career and my first long trip from Ohio to Florida.  At the last minute I threw a CB in the motorhome and tried to get a radio check for hours.  After the trip I realized I did not have the antenna grounded properly and ruined the CB radio, but at least I could receive CB chatter and was warned of two major backups and how to get around them.  Unfortunately, no one ever heard my "thank you" for the information. From that point on I have always had a CB radio in the RV and some of the trucks I have owned.  Once every couple of trips I am saved from hours of aggravation sitting in a traffic jam due to warnings from truckers.  But there is always that point where you hear there is trouble ahead, but details are sketchy and you need to make a determination to get off the highway or roll the dice in hopes that backup is cleared away.  Now that GPS technology is including traffic information I am wondering if you could use both to make more informed decisions.  My GPS so far has not proven to be very accurate when it comes to traffic delays.  The time of the delay always seems to way off.  I guess for now I will be grateful when the CB has me avoid a major backup and when it doesn't, it always fun to hear what truckers have to say about it.  BTW my CB handle is "Warpath" (although no one really seems to use them anymore) if we ever meet up on the highway.

Wall Mounted Trash Can

It's always a challenge to find the right solution for garbage in an RV.  Space is at a premium and in a moving vehicle many types of cans just do not stay in place.  So when I spotted this wall mounted trash can back in the warehouse I had to give it a try.  This can is small at 11"h x 8.75"w x 5"d and unless you are really frugal with the amount of garbage you create this probably would not be a good choice for the kitchen area.  But for the bathroom its perfect!  It comes with 2 screws and a mounting bracket so you can easily remove and clean.  The lid has a nice spring loaded swivel door so it keeps the garbage contained and it's a great way to reuse those plastic grocery bags as trash cans liner.  The perfect solution for small spaces.
