Greetings!
Happy Easter!
My father used to tell us kids that the Easter Beagle was coming and not the Easter Bunny. Our younger sister was never happy with the thought of a Beagle dropping off her Easter basket. The neighbors had a beagle and that thing never stopped barking and annoyed us all to no end.
Last week I mentioned we would take the new RV out on it's first overnight trip.
 | Wily on the left & Cali on the right | We headed about 2 1/2 hours south in hopes of warmer weather and sure enough we found it. It was about 70 degrees (20 degrees warmer than at home) with bright blue skies Friday afternoon and we quickly got a fire started, cooked some hot dogs over the fire and enjoyed the evening. By about 9 p.m. a thunderstorm rolled through and had one of the dogs (Cali a girl Shitzu) in a tizzy from the thunder, the other one (Wily a boy Shitzu & part panda, with a little bit of pig - he definitely is not pure Shitzu) could of cared less. As long as there is even the possibility of food around he cannot think of anything else. The rest of the weekend was cold but still a good time and it felt great to get away. The RV was awesome and other than a small leak in the shower door and a software issue on the inverter (both easily repaired) it was flawless. This RV for some reason feels more like home than any of the others we have owned and we like that. |
