Jim and his wife Beverly have been retired for more than a dozen years and so far they've loved every minute of it, relishing the time they now have to spend with their family and pursue their hobbies, from gardening to fishing.
Before retiring in 1996, Jim spent 40 years working in the telecommunications industry, including 33 years with Roseville Telephone Company. When he retired he was a Key Telephone Systems (KTS) supervisor, where his responsibilities were evenly split between craft work and management. Beverly, who retired in 1999, worked as a librarian in the Loomis School District for 28 years.
