Re-Glazing Begins on
Market Street Adaptive Reuse
Construction is underway at 2040 Market Street in Philadelphia, a mixed use renovation designed by Philadelphia-based architect Stephen Varenhorst. Developer PMC Property Group is renovating the former AAA Mid Atlantic building into a bustling Center City anchor at 21st and Market Streets.
Conners Sales Group played a key role in transforming the shell of this former 1960s office structure. CSG represents Columbia Commercial Building Products, of Rockwall, Texas, who fabricated and supplied the windows for the exterior facade. Columbia's 2050 series projected over fixed window is being installed, with a clear annodized finish. Reilly Glazing of Norristown, Pennsylvania is installing over 500 windows. Shown left are two progress photos of the current re-glaze.
The overall development by PMC and Varenhorst is to include 14,000 square feet of new retail space, 282 residential units and two additions, including an 8-story tower addition.
