Blake Fennell President & CEO Abrisa Technologies Meet Blake Fennell 

President and CEO of Abrisa Technologies

 

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Blake Fennell joined Abrisa Technologies as President and CEO effective August 27, 2012.

 

Mr. Fennell comes to Abrisa Technologies following a strong and very successful 17+ year career at Melles Griot, where he held multiple senior leadership roles, serving as Chief Operating Officer and then as Chief Executive Officer of this manufacturer and distributor of photonics-related components and subsystems including lasers, optical systems, and electro-optical components. Following the acquisition of the Melles Griot by Norwest Equity Partners in 2007, Blake served for an additional 4 years as President of the Laser Group within CVI Melles Griot, a California based manufacturer of lasers and laser-based light engines serving the Biomedical-instrumentation, Industrial, Aerospace & Defense, and Microelectronics industries.

Abrisa Technologies Custom Fabricates and Thin Film Coats Borosilicate Glass Substrates
Borofloat Abrisa Technologies can provide SCHOTT Borofloat�, borosilicate glass for a broad array of applications. The main components of borosilicate glass are silica and boron oxide which provide for a very low coefficient of thermal expansion, making the glass more resistant to thermal shock than other standard glass substrates.
 

Abrisa Technologies can apply anti-reflective, dichroic, UV, IR, ITO and IMITO coatings to the glass substrates as well as chemically and heat strengthen, machine, drill, cut, edge, polish, clean, grind, and screen print the glass for total optical solution.
