RECIPE
CHOCOLATE COVERED COOKIE BALLS
- (1) 15 ounce pkg. of cool mint or peanut butter cream Oreo cookies
- (1) 8 ounce pkg. cream cheese, softened
- chocolate or vanilla flavored candy coating wafers
- decorative sprinkles or chopped nuts
Pulse the cookies in a food processor until crumbly. Mix in cream cheese thoroughly. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Use melon baller or cookie scoop to shape into 1" balls. Place on wax paper lined cookie sheets & freeze for 1 hour, until firm. Melt candy coating. Dip each ball into candy coating to cover completely. Place on wax paper. Top with decorative sprinkles or chopped nuts. Let set. Store, covered in the refrigerator or freezer.
