| Greetings!
It is hard to believe the school year is wrapping up and summer is upon us. Of course in typical Oklahoma fashion, we have winter one weekend and summer the next, which keeps everyone guessing. We wanted to update you on some exciting happenings at Knowledge Tree and give you some summer ideas.

Summertime Fun for the Whole Family
| School's out, summer's here, how can we keep our brains active, healthy, and learning?
Believe it or not, there are many opportunities during the summer for everyone to ramp up their brain power.
Visiting National Parks - there is a junior ranger program through the National Park Service that will give your child the opportunity to earn a patch at each National Park by doing some extra activities while you are there. When you check in, tell the person you want to learn about the junior ranger program and they should set you up. You can also earn certificates and some badges online through the webrangers program by visiting the websites of the parks and exploring them vicariously from your own home.
Physical Activity - summer is the time to ramp up physical activities. Whether you are playing summer ball or swimming or attending camp, remember that keeping your brain actively learning and well hydrated are all keys to increasing your brain power. If you go for a walk make a conscious effort to identify flowers, trees, birds, and animal prints. There are a number of field guides available, Of course some are better than others - anything by the Audubon society will be excellent. There are online and print guides - choose which one works for you.
Family Time - whatever you decide to do, take time to spend with your family. Whether it's reading books together, playing at the pool, camping, hiking, or vacationing, make time to talk and get to know each other better than ever. It is time you well spent.

Knowledge Tree is Changing
| Knowledge Tree has passed its one year anniversary. For those of you who have been with us since the beginning - THANK YOU!
As with any organization, to continue to be a vibrant, responsive organization we must change to meet the needs of our clients and ourselves. To that end, we are undergoing an ownership change and restructuring in the office.
Tonya and Aaron have a new foster son who is 7 months old and is needing a lot of the TLC that fills their home. To that end, Tonya has decided to become a stay-at-home mom again and enjoy her boys. We wish Tonya and her family nothing but the best in the future and hope they drop in on us from time to time.
Kimberly Houk, MSEd will be joining Knowledge Tree ownership. Kim has extensive training in the health and wellness fields and has been on a number of commissions within the Air Force. She brings management experience and health experience to our offices and we hope to incorporate her information into our offerings.
If you have not met Mrs Gina, Cassie, and Bailey, you are missing out. These wonderful ladies have joined us, Mrs. Gina and Cassie as trainers, and Bailey to help out in the office, and we are so thankful for the sharing of their gifts. Nicholas Keen will be joining us in June as a collegiate sales representative.
As usual, Kristal continues to direct the client services part of our organization. You may reach either she or Bailey depending on who happens to be in the office when you call.
We are looking forward to Barbara Freed, MSEd, formally joining our staff in the future as a consultant. Barbara has extensive experience in the education field and has invaluable knowledge to share with our staff.
So while the faces may be changing some, our commitment to quality services and the continued growth of our clients and their families has not changed. We continue to be dedicated to empowering minds to create a solution for everyone. Come by and see us sometime.

Thought for the Day

Many people think they want things, but they don't really have the strength, the discipline. They are weak.
I believe that you get what you want if you want it badly enough.
